EUROMED MICRODERMABRASION FACIAL

With the summer heat destroying my skin on a daily basis, hydration and a proper cleaning session has become a vital part of my monthly routine. Having had many pleasant experiences at EuroMed Clinic, I headed back for my July cleanse, eager to try their microdermabrasion facial. Combining a range of facemasks and the hydra facial machine, this particular treatment has been created to give your skin an industrial kind of clean, removing all dirt, dust and blackheads (which lets be honest, is exactly what we need!).  The 45-minute treatment starts with a cleanse, followed by the Customizable HydraFacial MD® treatment which can be tailored to safely and effectively address your specific skin concerns. The unique Vortex-Fusion serum delivery system is what sets the HydraFacial apart from other treatments. The six-step treatment cleanses, evenly exfoliates and extracts to remove impurities, dead skin cells and black heads, while simultaneously replenishing vital nutrients, depending on the skin’s particular needs, including antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid. Thanks to the procedure’s pioneering delivery system, these performing ingredients are able …

ST REGIS, CORNICHE ABU DHABI

Home to one of the Emirate’s best beach clubs, a private stretch of sand, a host of amazing restaurants and breakfast until 3pm on a Saturday, a staycay at The St Regis Abu Dhabi sounds like a great idea! Standing tall on the city’s skyline, the twin towers bring all the class, tradition and style that the brand has to offer, showcasing distinctive St. Regis New York legacy with a touch of Arabian culture. Located at the heart of the Abu Dhabi Corniche, our staycation at the hotel, which is directly connected to Nation Galleria Mall, came at a fantastic time, offering an escape from the Dubai heat, sand and humidity. Predominantly a business hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to feel none of the typical sterile corporate tones on arrival at the soaring building. Greeted by beautiful scents, Arabic coffee, dates and a smiling team, our first sights were of the glorious dual staircase topped with glass-blown chandeliers, portraying the epitome of grandeur. There are no check-in counters in sight upon entry (which makes a nice change) just a collection of side …

CRAB MARKET, DIFC DUBAI

Taking any excuse for a trip to DIFC, we headed to Crab Market, the financial district’s newest seafood eatery, to check out their infamous crab, tartare selection and prawns.  Nestled in Emirates Financial North Tower, it isn’t the easiest place to find, but once you eventually meander up to the 15th floor you are greeted to friendly staff and an open plan kitchen surrounded by a display of the finest seafood and yes… lots of crabs! Brown Crab, just one of our specialties, served on a silver platter and cooked exactly to your preference. Bon appetite! #CrabMarket . . . . #CrabMarketDxb #CrabDubai #DxbFood #Delicious #MyDubai #DIFC #SeafoodRestaurant #EFTDubai #SeafoodLover #DinnerWithAView #BusinessLunch A post shared by Crab Market Restaurant (@crabmarketdxb) on May 14, 2018 at 3:04am PDT The restaurant sprawls across across the northern side of the tower and provides stunning views across DIFC and beyond, thanks to floor to ceiling windows.  A large well lit restaurant area with relaxed atmosphere is provided in the right wing, whilst a New York style bar \ lounge, with a funkier …

KEEMALA, PHUKET

With a wealth of beautiful hotels, villas and private houses to stay in, finding the perfect resting place can sometimes be testing. Providing a flawless hideaway for honeymooners and couples, Keemala is a sanctuary for those who wish to rebalance, rejuvenate and relax. Embracing traditional Thai culture and customs, guest experiences are designed to be enriching and everything at Keemala is done with care. Situated in the cute coastal town of Kamala on the west coast of Phuket Island, the beautiful hotel is a 5-minute drive to Kamala beach and a 10-minute drive away from the lively Patong, yet far enough removed to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Located 40 minutes from Phuket International Airport, the concept of Keemala has been inspired from the history of fictitious ancient Phuket settlers and incorporates the story of four different clans within the resort. The architecture of the four different villa types reflects the skills and way of life of each of the groups. An example of this is the ‘Khon-Jorn Clan’ (Wanderer Clan) who were an adventurous group …

THE NAKA, PHUKET

On the opposite end of the spectrum (but actually only 10-minutes from Keemala), The Naka is a design led resort, perfect for families and friends. Hidden in an ancient valley on the western edge of Phuket, The Naka Phuket is Duangrit Bunnag’s most daring hotel to date, with 94 glass-built villas cantilevering out from the mountainside. With an outdoor pool attached to each of the secluded living spaces, the one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas have warm teak flooring, calming grey on the walls and natural stone in the bathrooms, where oversized rain showers complete the tropical experience. While the villas are decked out with all the modern conveniences, the real treat is enjoying the sound of the waves softly crashing on the sand from your private balcony. Made up mostly of glass and wooden pillars, each room is fully equipped with tech gadgets, including a mobile which connects you to the resort as well as the rest of the island. Each villa also features an elegantly designed overhanging bedroom and protruding 6-meter infinity pool. With …

BILLIONAIRE MANSION DUBAI

Summers in Dubai can be slow, with a lack of outdoor activities and entertainment. In an attempt to spice up a recent Friday night, we decided to pay a visit to Billionaire Mansion, a place that I only recently found out offered both a show and sit-down dinner experience (with ample sushi I must add) – not just a nightclub with bottles poppin’ to the early hours of the morning. A concept crafted by Italian entrepreneur and F1 boss Flavio Briatore; the new restaurant, show, bar and club experience can be found spread across the first floor of the Taj hotel in Business Bay. You might be expecting a mansion, but don’t worry – that fact that it isn’t is not a deal breaker and the cosy space that it does house actually adds to its personality. Made up of two different venues, half the space is filled with a bar which expands into a club at the stroke of midnight, whilst the restaurant offers a mix of Japanese and Italian dishes alongside a classy …
